The Specimen Collection station works barcode-first: a worklist with colour-coded container chips, STAT first, fasting and handling flags, labels printed at collection or pre-printed for batches, and a name-and-birthdate check before the needle. Receiving applies an acceptance checklist and stability rules; a rejected tube's tests move to a new labelled container automatically.
Results go through named signatories (MedTech, QC, Pathologist) with PRC numbers, and e-signatures print only on released results. Amendments need a reason and keep every version. Each released result carries a signed QR code (ECDSA P-256) that the clinic's verification page checks without contacting the server and without exposing patient data.
