Receptionists answer price inquiries from the same catalog the cashier uses, including anonymous walk-in inquiries. Each quotation is numbered QT-YYYY-NNNN, can carry optional and alternative lines, and needs approval only when it offers a special price.
At the counter, the cashier scans the quotation's QR code and the order uses the quoted prices and the already-approved discount. If the quote has expired, today's prices apply and staff see the difference first. Revisions keep the number (-R1) and the old version prints SUPERSEDED.
